MOSCOW, Jun 14 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal State Property Management Service is not preparing an order to dismiss CEO of power utility Rosseti Oleg Budargin, a government source told PRIME on Wednesday.
Several media reported earlier that Rosseti could fire Budargin, since his name is not on the list of candidates to the company’s board of directors to be voted on June 30.
The source said that the presidential administration had agreed on a new list of board of directors members with Anatoly Tikhonov replacing Budargin, but this is no sign that he is quitting.
“In order to begin to prepare the dismissal procedure, one of the two reasons is formally needed: either a request from the Energy Ministry, as an authority controlling the company, or by Budargin himself. Neither of this has taken place,” the source said.
